New York Comic Con 2023 – Norman Reedus, Greg Nicotero, Scott M. Gimple, and David Zabel talk about The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon

At this year’s New York Comic Con (2023), I had the chance to participate in a press conference with the producers and showrunners of The Walking Dead spin-off series, Daryl Dixon. Included in the conversation are series star Norman Reedus and showrunners Greg Nicotero, Scott M. Gimple, and David Zabel.

In The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Daryl (Norman Reedus) washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.

The new series also stars Clemence Poesy, Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi & Melissa McBride.

Based on the characters created by renowned comic book writer Robert Kirkman and illustrators Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard, the forthcoming spin-off series is created and executive produced by showrunner David Zabel.
