A look at the life and 70 plus year career of Rita Moreno from her humble beginnings in Puerto Rico to her success on Broadway and in Hollywood where she broke down barriers, fought for representation, and forged a path for new generations of artists.

Rita Moreno’s career has spanned over 70 years; her notable acting work includes supporting roles in the musical films Singin’ in the Rain (1952), The King and I (1956) and West Side Story (1961). Moreno is one of the few artists to have won all four major annual American entertainment awards: an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony.

Directed by Mariem Perez Riera, the documentary is out on 18th June 2021.
