The cast of The Goonies will reunite to do a script read for charity

Josh Brolin, Corey Feldman, Sean Astin, Kerri Green, Martha Plimpton, Ke Huy Quan, Jeff Cohen, Joe Pantoliano and Robert Davi, as well as special guests Zach Braff, Cary Elwes, Donald Faison and Josh Gad, will be getting together today, Saturday 5th December at 5 PM PST (this will be 1AM GMT on Sunday 6th December for me) for a script read. The event is to raise money for No Kid Hungry.

Director Richard Donner had this to say about the event:

The same spirit of bravery, sacrifice and camaraderie that the Goonies showed in our movie is what families all over the world are experiencing as we all face this pandemic. We are honored to have the opportunity to help No Kid Hungry and to hopefully bring a little light and love into homes across the globe.
