"No matter where you go, there you are."

The Dune: Adventures In The Imperium Role Playing Game is heading our way

When it was announced that there was a new Dune movie in production from director Denis Villeneuve, it also came with the news that there would be various TV shows, video games and other media to go alongside it. There was the recent updated version of the 1979 board game, which I am looking forward to playing.

One such thing was the Dune Role Playing Game and now there is some more information on that.

Called Dune: Adventures In The Imperium, the game is from Modiphius and uses their 2D20 system.

According to details shared with Polygon, it will ask players to join one of the Major Houses of the Landsraad, such as House Atreides and House Harkonnen. Alternately, players can also create their own House within the Padishah Imperium.

While the byzantine politics of the Great Houses contain more than enough potential adventure the gameplay will cover all manner of agents, spies, mercenaries, and even criminals that serve the agenda of your House according to Modiphius.

The film is due out on 17th December 2020 and the RPG should be out later this year.

Beta tests are going to be going live soon and you can join in and get updates of the game here.
