Netflix unveils the first teaser trailer for the sequel to the Norwegian global smash hit TROLL, Netflix’s most-watched non-English film of all time, offering a first glimpse into the next chapter of the saga. The highly anticipated sequel is set to premiere this year on Netflix 1st December. This time, the stakes are higher and the danger deadlier as beloved heroes Nora (Ine Marie Wilmann), Andreas (Kim Falck), and Captain Kris (Mads Sjøgård Pettersen) return – joined by fierce newcomer Marion (Sara Khorami) – must confront a terrifying new and monstrous troll: It is more ruthless and destructive than ever as it unleashes chaos across Norway.

When a dangerous new troll is awakened, unleashing devastation across Norway, beloved adventurers Nora, Andreas and Captain Kris are thrust into their most perilous mission yet. To stop the creature’s ruthless rampage, they must enlist new allies and delve into the country’s ancient history, searching for answers. As the clock ticks and the troll’s path of destruction grows wider, our heroes face impossible odds in their fight to save their homeland from falling into darkness.

The first film was a cracking watch, and I love the whole Troll as a Kaiju. Curious to see what happens in the sequel.

TROLL 2 reunites the powerhouse team behind the original hit, bringing together internationally acclaimed director Roar Uthaug (Tomb Raider, The Wave), returning writer Espen Aukan, and producers Espen Horn and Kristian Strand Sinkerud of Motion Blur.

Based on Norwegian folklore, the film remains Netflix’s most popular non-English film to this date with a record-breaking 103 million views.
