Ballard – Watch the teaser for the new show set in the same universe as Bosch

Ballard follows Detective Renée Ballard (Maggie Q), who is tasked with running the LAPD’s new cold-case unit — a poorly funded, all-volunteer unit with the largest case load in the city.

Ballard approaches these frozen-in-time cases with empathy and determination. When she uncovers a conspiracy during her investigations, she’ll lean on the assistance of her retired ally, Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver), to navigate the dangers that threaten both her unit and her life.

The show is based on Michael Connelly’s books. It stars Maggie Q, John Carroll Lynch, Rebecca Field, Michael Mosley, Amy Hill, Victoria Moroles, Courtney Taylor, Hector Hugo, Noah Bean, Michael Cassidy, and Titus Welliver.

The show is created and written by Kendall Sherwood (Major Crimes, The Code, Your Honor), and showrun by Sherwood and Michael Alaimo.
