State of play

Happy New Year! 2025 is here and still no flying cars and silver suits.

Regular readers will have noticed that I’ve not been posting as much recently and that’s been due to illness and real world work.

I was hit by a particularly nasty case of the flu back in September and I’m still feeling the effects of it. Energy levels are only now starting to get back to what they were.

Due to a decrease in paid online work, as revenue etc (I think AI written articles and sites have been having a major impact on that kind of thing), I’ve also had to take on some part time work in the real world – I do like saying it like that and I must rewatch The Matrix!

Add to the mix the loss of some close friends and some other personal things all combined into a perfect storm of not having the time, spoons, or inclination to write and post as much as I have in the past.

There were lots of good things in 2024 so it wasn’t all doom and gloom for me.

Have no fear though, Live for Films will continue and I will get back up to speed going into 2025. I just wanted to keep you all updated. You can also support the site by subscribing to the Substack or pick up a Live for Films T-Shirt.
