Here is our first look at Sean Baker’s Anora

Anora is the new film from director Sean Baker (Tangerine, The Florida Project, Red Rocket). There are no plot details as yet, but it is described as an “adventure rom-com.”

It stars Mikey Madison, Mark Eydelshteyn, Yuriy Borisov, Karren Karagulian, Vache Tovmasyan, Ivy Wolk and Luna Sofia Miranda.

The first image has been released that shows Mikey Madison dancing in a night club.

Drew Daniels was director of photography and shot the feature on 35mm film. Baker also produces Anora along with Alex Coco and Samantha Quan.

The film was selected to compete for the Palme d’Or at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, where it is set to premiere in May 2024. Neon will then release the film later this year.
