Luc Besson is working on a new adaptation of Dracula starring Christoph Waltz and Caleb Landry Jones

Gear up for a thrilling cinematic revival as Luc Besson (The Fifth Element, Leon) takes the helm of a new retelling of Bram Stoker’s immortal classic, Dracula.

As reported by Variety, the cast is shaping up with the legendary Christoph Waltz, a two-time Oscar winner, and the talented Caleb LandryJones, known for his standout performance in Besson’s latest film Dogman, currently in talks to headline the project. I assume Waltz will be Van Helsing and Caleb Landry Jones will be the Count, but you never can tell with Besson.

Besson’s fresh interpretation promises to delve into the origins of Dracula, shedding light on his enigmatic beginnings and the complexities of his relationship with his wife.

Joining a legacy of cinematic renditions, including Francis Ford Coppola’s iconic “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” in 1992, Besson’s adaptation promises a fresh perspective on the timeless tale.

Produced by Luc Besson Productions in collaboration with EuropaCorp, this eagerly anticipated film is slated to commence production later this year, promising an epic journey into the heart of darkness.

I know Dracula has been made again and again, but what would you like to see in Besson’s version of the film?
