Merry Good Enough – Watch the trailer for the new Christmas comedy-drama

Freestyle Digital Media, the digital film distribution division of Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group, has acquired North American VOD rights to the warm-hearted holiday feature Merry Good Enough, which will be available to rent/own on all digital HD internet, cable, and satellite platforms in North America, starting on December 19, 2023, through Freestyle Digital Media.

Ah, the holidays. Lucy Raulie (Raye Levine Spielberg) has always had a complicated relationship with her dysfunctional family, but when her mother (Susan Gallagher) disappears on Christmas Eve (and it’s maybe Lucy’s fault…) it’s going to be up to Lucy to bring her family back together again, whether she knows it or not.

Joined in forces (sort of…) by her older brother Tim (Daniel Desmarais) and younger sister Cynthia (Comfort Clinton) the Raulie kids may get more than they all bargained for when their eccentric father George (Joel Murray) shows up to “help” in the search. Featuring vintage songs and a stand-out ensemble cast that also includes Sawyer Spielberg, Marcia DeBonis, Neil Casey and Sophie von Haselberg, Merry Good Enough is at once warm-hearted and sharp, a new holiday classic in the making.

At once funny, edgy, and hopeful, MERRY GOOD ENOUGH is led by Raye Levine Spielberg and Joel Murray and features a stand-out ensemble cast that includes Susan Gallagher, Comfort Clinton, Sawyer Spielberg, Daniel Desmarais, Neil Casey, Sophie von Haselberg, Margaret Curry, Kevin O. Peterson, and Marcia DeBonis.

MERRY GOOD ENOUGH was written by Caroline Keene, who co-directed with Dan Kennedy. Producers include Kennedy, along with Krista Minto, Jamieson Shea, and Genevieve Skehan.

Freestyle Digital Media negotiated the deal to acquire MERRY GOOD ENOUGH with Glen Reynolds of Circus Road Films on behalf of the filmmakers.
