"No matter where you go, there you are."

Watch the teaser trailer for Masters of the Universe: Revelation

From Executive Producer Kevin Smith, comes an epic story that picks up where the 80’s series left off and brings the power of Grayskull back to the world.

It begins with an epic battle between He-Man (Chris Wood) and Skeletor (Mark Hamill) that fractures Eternia and leaves the Guardians of Grayskull scattered.

I do wonder whether He-Man will be a major part of the show or will he be hidden away for most of it with the rest of the gang searching for him?

The show features the voices of Mark Hamill, Lena Headey, Chris Wood, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Stephen Root, Diedrich Bader, Griffin Newman, Tiffany Smith, Henry Rollins, Alan Oppenheimer, Susan Eisenberg, Alicia Silverstone, Justin Long, Jason Mewes, Phil LaMarr, Tony Todd, Cree Summer, Kevin Michael Richardson, Kevin Conroy and Harley Quinn Smith.

Hamill will play the villainous Skeletor in the series. Game of Thrones star Headey plays Skeletor’s right-hand woman, Evil-Lyn. Wood (Supergirl, ABC’s Thirtysomething sequel) is Prince Adam/He-Man, and Gellar and Liam Cunningham (Game of Thrones) play He-Man’s cohorts Teela and Man-at-Arms, respectively. Oppenheimer, who plays Moss Man in the new show, was the voice of Skeletor in the 1983 He-Man series.

Part 1 of Masters of the Universe: Revelation premieres July 23, only on Netflix.
