David Lynch presents a new edit of Rabbits

David Lynch’s Rabbits is 18 years old. It originally premiered on DavidLynch.com and parts of it also featured in 2006’s Inland Empire.

I do love Lynch’s work, but Inland Empire was a hard watch for me. Maybe I need to give it another viewing.

Anyway, Rabbits stars Scott Coffey as Jack Rabbit, Laura Elena Harring & Rebekah Del Rio as Jane, and Naomi Watts as Suzie. It was originally 45 minutes long so I imagine there will be another couple of episodes after this one.

They stand or sit in a room and say odd things while a laugh track plays at odd times.

Is it weird for the sake of being weird or is there more to it? I am really not sure, but I do find it fascinating.
