Enfant Terrible – Watch the trailer for the Rainer Werner Fassbinder biopic

Screen International shared the first trailer for Enfant Terrible, Oskar Roehler’s biopic of late iconic German director Rainer Werner Fassbinder. You can watch it below.

The film tells episodes from Fassbinder’s life and shows all its facets: from the brilliant playwright and director to the desperate for himself and the love seeker to the charismatic leader who relentlessly drives his companions and companions to it, a unique cinematic work to implement.

Fassbinder was extremely productive in his relatively short life (he was 37 when he died) – he made over 40 feature films, two television series and three short films. He also wrote 24 plays and 4 radio plays. He is considered one of the most important representatives of New German Film in the 1970s and early 1980s.

Oliver Masucci stars as Fassbinder, Katja Riemann, Erdal Yildiz as El Hedi ben Salem, Eva Mattes as actress Brigitte Mira, Antoine Monot Jr. as producer and actor Peter Berling, Götz Otto as Jack Palance and Alexander Scheer as Andy Warhol.

The film is lead-produced by Markus Zimmer at Bavaria Filmproduktion in co-production with Stefan Arndt and Uwe Schott at X Filme Creative Pool.
