Back To The Future: Back In Time board game is heading our way

We all love a spot of Back To The Future and there is a new board game heading our way which looks great. Back To The Future: Back In Time is from Funko Games and Prospero Hall.

I love the art style and it looks similar in some ways to Horrified which was a fantastic board game.

Time travelling at its best! Start in 1985 and get ready to travel in the DeLorean to solve 4 different major events! Use the clock tower (dice tower) to find out what movements you can make on the game board Flip the polaroid family portrait every time you solve an event to make the family portrait and win!

  • Travel via a 3D DeLorean Time Machine mover between all four timelines of 1885 1955 1985 and 2015 from the classic film series battling Buford Tannen, young Biff Tannen, middle-aged Biff Tannen, and Griff Tannen, to maintain the normal timeline
  • Race to resolve volatile Major Events (Get George and Lorraine Together Prevent Griff and Marty Jr from Robbing a Bank etc) Each timeline has a Tannen causing problems and escalating the Major Events!
  • If a Tannen causes a Major Event to tip over into the negative the Event Tile flips to re-set on another timeline as a new Major Event creating a trickle-down effect
  • Light gateway deck-building mechanic including special items (Hoverboard Mr Fusion etc ) plus specific Doc Marty Jennifer and Einstein powers gives each player character-specific abilities
  • Features a 3D clock tower used as a dice tower for DeLorean movement! Resolve all Major Events before the three McFly children disappear from the photo and you win the game!

Back to The Future: Back In Time will be out on 14th July 2020.

It is currently on pre-order for £25.30 and you can order it below.
