Happy!

On Friday, October 5th, SYFY’s horror thriller NIGHTFLYERS, from Universal Cable Productions, held its world premiere at New York Comic Con for a lucky audience at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Following the screening, a panel of executive producers and talent confirmed its fan forward rollout plan of the George R. R. Martin series which sees all 10 episodes debuting throughout the month of December across all SYFY platforms. The event kicks off with the first episode premiering on the SYFY linear channel on December 2 at 10/9c. Stars Eoin Macken, Gretchen Mol and David Ajala took the stage alongside executive producer and showrunner Jeff Buhler and executive producers Gene Klein and David Bartis for a panel discussion moderated by Laura Prudom (IGN).

On Saturday, October 6th SYFY, Sony Pictures Television and Universal Cable Productions screened the world premiere of DEADLY CLASS for the New York Comic Con audience and announced their premiere date of January 16 at 10/9c. The panel for the series based on the popular Image Comics graphic novel of the same name was moderated by Dominic Patten (Deadline), and featured comic co-creator, writer, executive producer and co-showrunner Rick Remender, artist and comic co-creator Wes Craig, and cast members Benjamin Wadsworth, Lana Condor, María Gabriela de Faría, Benedict Wong, Luke Tennie and Liam James.

The dynamic duo of Nick Sax and his blue feathered friend Happy are back! If you thought destroying Christmas was a bundle of joy, the second season will be brought to a whole new level as HAPPY! takes on Easter. Today (Saturday, October 6th) SYFY and Universal Cable Production’s breakout series HAPPY! brought the cast and creatives together at New York Comic Con to recap the chaos of Season 1, tease the insanity that’s to come in Season 2, and announce that star Christopher Meloni directed this season’s second episode. Moderator Michael Ausiello (TVLine) was joined on stage by cast members Meloni, Lili Mirojnick, Medina Senghore, Ritchie Coster, Patrick Fischler and Christopher Fitzgerald as well as executive producers Patrick Macmanus, Brian Taylor and executive producer and comic book writer Grant Morrison. After a lively conversation teasing the unhinged roller coaster in store, the audience was able to see all-new behind-the-scenes footage and a sneak peek at Season 2 coming in 2019.
