I started asking questions about WHY it affected me and it took me quite a while to arrive at the answer. This video digs into how the structure of the film steer an audience to that final emotional climax and it explore the obstacles Chris Gardner faces in the film. Will Smith perfectly captures a man holding everything inside and this film about struggle and adversity is actually about the resilience of the human spirit.
