Amazon is developing Outrider, a Western drama series with Arnold Schwarzenegger attached to star and executive produce. Outrider is a western mystery series set in the Oklahoma Indian Territory in the late 1800s. It tells the dark and dangerous tale of a deputy who is not only tasked by a notoriously brutal judge with apprehending a legendary outlaw in the wilderness, but must also partner with a ruthless Federal Marshal (Schwarzenegger) — who immigrated to the US from Europe as a child — to make sure justice is properly served. As the story unfolds, enemies will become allies and a series of unpredictable surprises will blur the line between good guys and bad – Deadline

– During an earnings call, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced there are a few Star Wars TV series in the works for the new Disney streaming app. “We are developing not just one, but a few Star Wars series specifically for the Disney direct-to-consumer app. We’ve mentioned that and we are close to being able to reveal at least one of the entities that is developing that for us. Because the deal isn’t completely closed, we can’t be specific about that. I think you’ll find the level of talent… on the television front will be rather significant as well.”

– I was disappointed with The Cloverfield Paradox (read my review) but it did set up how all these strange things can happen in different timelines and dimensions. It seems that strange things happen when you sync up the new movie with Cloverfield. Is it deliberate or just coincidence? Thanks to BloodyDisgusting for the link.
