Search/Destroy: A Strontium Dog Fan Film is an amazing achievement. Watch it here

Strontium Dog was created by writer John Wagner and artist Carlos Ezquerra for Starlord,  but is best now for the run he had in 2000AD. In 1980 Wagner was joined by co-writer Alan Grant, although scripts were normally credited to Grant alone. Grant wrote the series solo from 1988 to 1990.

The makers of Judge Minty, a Judge Dredd fan film, have been working on the Strontium Dog fan film, Search and Destroy,for a while. It is now finished and you can watch it below.

As with Judge Minty the production value is incredible. It is like the comic book come to life. Wrap that up with some fine performances, a darn tasty story and you have a very cool short film. It really shows the potential for a live action series.
