Watch the ending of Rogue One going into the beginning of Star Wars: A New Hope

Gareth Edwards (Godzilla, Monsters) directed Rogue One, which tells the story of resistance fighters who have united to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star.
The film stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, and Riz Ahmed. 

I loved the film, especially how it all tied in so nicely with what had gone before.

Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen Rogue One.

When Darth Vader turned up to stop the Rebels it was great to see him go full Sith death machine, something we had only really seen in the animated shows and comics.

Rogue One ended minutes before the beginning of Star Wars: A New Hope and Barre Fong put together this video that stitches them together. It is beautiful to see how closely Gareth Edwards and his team matched things up.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is out digitally on 24th March 2017 and then out on Blu-ray and DVD on 10th April 2017.
