Cool Short: Lost Boy – A new punk sci-fi project

Following in the footsteps of Sunday, their debut concept short success from last year, comes Lost Boy, the new punk sci-fi feature project which is next in-line from PostPanic Pictures.

Directed by Ash Thorp and Anthony Scott Burns, you can watch the concept short below. You can also see some concept art.

It all looks very cool and there is a great visual style on display. I definitely want to see more of this world. Kind of like a mix of Mad Max, Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone, Tron and Pitch Black.

The idea of LOST BOY was born years back by Ash Thorp’s passion for sketching out these unique characters and scenarios, which quickly gained a huge fan base. Once Anthony Scott Burns and Ash Thorp joined together for collaborative efforts on LOST BOY, it further evolved with a fascinating storyline and uncompromising vision of society’s far distant future sure to surprise audiences.

LOST BOY is an ambitious sci-fi concept heavily influenced by the American action classics and Japanese samurai films. LOST BOY represents the second feature in a series of director-driven film projects from the Amsterdam-based production company, PostPanic Pictures.

Have a look at the short and share your thoughts in the comments.
