Check out the new pic of John Turturro as The Big Lebowski’s Jesus Quintana in Going Places
Susan Sarandon shared an image of John Turturro as Jesus Quintana in Going Places, but now this new image gives us a better look. Looks like he still loves bowling.
Turturro is directing and he stars alongside Bobby Cannavale, Audrey Tautou and Susan Sarandon. Shooting is taking place in New York, and the Coen brothers are not involved with the production.
The film is a remake of a 1974 French comedy called Les Valseuses. Turturro wrote the script and it carries on with his character from The Big Lebowski.
Turturro has wanted to return to the character for a long time. Apparently he has the rights or permission from the Coen Brothers to do so.
The film follows two crooks, Turturro’s Jesus and Cannavale’s Petey, who are on a mission to give a woman (Tautou) her first orgasm after ends up getting mixed up in one of their schemes. Sarandon also ends up in their company, playing a criminal who just got out after a long stint in prison. Sarandon plays a criminal who just got out of prison after serving a long sentence.
I love The Big Lebowski so looking forward to see what Turturro does with this new film.
