Looks like we may be getting a fan made animated Indiana Jones

Back in 2012 I posted some beautiful Indiana Jones art work by Patrick Schoenmaker. I had thought it was just concept art and that was that, but looks like Patrick has been working on a fully animated Indiana Jones.

Here is what he had to say about it:

There you have it, September 29th is the official release date for my animated Indiana Jones project, so whip out your calenders and mark the date! Just a little disclaimer though, please don’t expect a full feature film, or even a 20 minute episode. Animation is a lot of work and there’s only so much you can accomplish with a small team of 1 and a handfull of assistants. Think more like something along the lines of a fully animated proof of concept.

So we just have to wait for the end of the month! Count me in, as long as Disney don’t shut it down!

I still feel this is the way that Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford should do Indiana Jones animated for future films.
