WHIH Newsfront bring us another update – The Avengers and The White House

cap

Join WHIH Newsfront as host Christine Everhart and political correspondent Will Adams debate the Avengers and the role that the White House and President Ellis should play.

Leslie Bibb first cropped up as Christine Everhart back in 2008’s Iron Man and she is joined for this new report by The Daily Show‘s Al Madrigal as Will Adams. Marvel just seem to do these kind of things so well. It was also great seeing William Sadler’s President Ellis appear in a recent episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

You can read our Captain America: Civil War reviews here and here.

Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

Set for release in the UK on 29th April 2016 and the United States on May 6, 2016, “Captain America: Civil War” is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo (Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Community”) from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (“Captain America: The Winter Solider,” Marvel’s “Captain America: The First Avenger”).
