A Reckoning – Watch a film that was long thought lost

In the early days of Live for Films, I came across a film called A Reckoning, aka Straw Man. Directed by Andrew Barker, who co-wrote it with Garry Charles, it starred Leslie Simpson (Dog Soldiers, The Descent, Grandpa) and Axelle Carolyn (Centurion, Tales of Halloween). Other people involved with the film were Assistant Director Tiernan Hanby and DOP Adam Krajczynski. You can see the full cast and crew list below.

It follows a man (Simpson) who could be the last man on Earth or who may just have lost his mind.

I was lucky enough to interview Andrew, Leslie and Axelle. I also got to see the film and you can read my review here. I think it was the first time I was quoted on a film poster, which was amazing.

Due to various behind the scenes goings on, the film sadly never got a release. A shame, as it was very good and showed extreme talent from all involved.

However, it has now escaped on to the Internet and you can watch it below. I highly recommend it and, if you like it, spread the word.
