Neill Blomkamp says his Alien film is on hold, but we already knew this

I wasn’t going to mention it to be honest, but I saw some people were going on a rant saying Ridley Scott was trying to kill Neill Blomkamp’s new film. All the information is already out there, but it seems that we need to go over it again.

alien is kinda holding/ pending prometheus 2. So I shall be working on other things… as much as I love the xeno- and Lt ripley

As I already said, we already knew this as Scott had said it would be out after Alien: Paradise Lost in a recent interview. Here is what he said about Blomkamp’s film:
There you have it. Blomkamp is just confirming what Scott has said. His Alien film isn’t on indefinite hold. He’s just done all he can and now has to wait for Scott’s Prometheus sequel to get sorted.
Carry on with your day.
