Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order gets a trailer

AMC Networks’ Anne Rice Immortal Universe invaded Comic-Con International’s Ballroom 20 with a panel for the debut season of Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order.

Anne Rice’s Talamasca panel included Executive Producer Mark Johnson, who oversees the Anne Rice Immortal Universe; Showrunners and Executive Producers John Lee Hancock and Mark Lafferty; and series stars Nicholas Denton (“Guy Anatole”), William Fichtner (“Jasper”), Maisie Richardson-Sellers (“Olive”) and Celine Buckens (“Doris”)

Denton will star as Guy Anatole. He is brilliant, handsome and sharp on the surface, but he’s always known his mind works a little differently. On the cusp of graduating law school, he is approached by a representative of the Talamasca, a secretive agency that monitors and protects us from the supernatural world. When Guy learns that the Talamasca has been tracking him since his childhood, he falls headlong into a world of secret agents and immortal beings who, up to now, have maintained a fragile balance with the mortal world. But for that balance to hold, and for Guy to survive, he will have to learn to embrace the dark, treacherous depths of his true and singular self.

Attendees were thrilled by a surprise appearance by Eric Bogosian, who portrays investigative journalist and author of Interview with a Vampire, “Daniel Molloy,” and the announcement that he will reprise his role, guest-starring as a crossover character in the new series.

The Secret Order premieres on 26th October, exclusively on AMC and AMC+.
