Oscar-nominated filmmaker Raoul Peck (I Am Not Your Negro) delves deeply into the writing of George Orwell (1984) to explore its profound relevance to our current times.
Damian Lewis narrates the film as George Orwell.
The documentary had its world premiere at the Cannes Premiere section of the Cannes Film Festival on 17 May 2025, where it was nominated for the L’Œil d’or.
It is scheduled to be released on 3 October 2025.
