The Sound of Music is returning to cinemas for its 60th Anniversary

Tickets are now on sale for The Sound of Music 60th anniversary screenings, accompanied by the release of a new trailer and first look at the newly restored 4K film footage.

Beginning on September 20 for a limited time only, whether you’re sixteen going on seventeen or simply young at heart, there is no better time to experience the breathtaking new theatrical presentation of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s™ iconic musical film “The Sound of Music”, courtesy of Trafalgar Releasing. Meticulously restored and remastered in 4K for its 60th anniversary, the beloved classic is more brilliant than ever with pristine picture and sound. The film can be enjoyed in over 950 cinemas, in over 28 countries on 20th September.
