The Matrix: Resurrections is the fourth installment in The Matrix film series. Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, Lambert Wilson, and Daniel Bernhardt are all back from the previous films. They are joined by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, Eréndira Ibarra, Priyanka Chopra, Andrew Caldwell, Brian J. Smith, Ellen Hollman, and Christina Ricci.

It does look good with lots of callbacks to the previous film. I’m just not sure whether I can get excited for it. Hopefully it will recapture the magic of the first film. The sequels, especially the last one, left me feeling so disappointed I just don’t know whether this will make up for it. I also half expect Ryan Reynold’s Free Guy to pop up!

Maybe this will surprise us and twist everything that has gone before.
