Skylin3s – The sequel to Skyline and Beyond Skyline gets a trailer

Skyline was out in 2010 and was produced and directed by Brothers Strause. That was the one that had “strange lights descending on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth.

It had some great effects but didn’t quite work in my opinion.

Beyond Skyline followed it in 2017 directed by Liam O’Donnell and it was definitely better than the first.

The new film is directed by Liam O’Donnell and features Beyond Skyline star Lindsey Morgan back as Captain Rose Corley.

It also has the following synopsis.

The third film of this successful trilogy focuses on Captain Rose Corley, a human born with extraterrestrial superpowers that come with a price – she is the only person strong enough to beat the alien invaders but needs constant blood transfusions to stop her accelerated rate of aging. A long-time fighter against the invaders, Rose is now a fugitive on the run. Rose is plucked out of hiding by the military and once again asked to fight: hybrid alien-humans that make up the majority of Earth’s population are about to turn rogue, falling under alien control. With only 72 hours to succeed, Rose is sent on a mission to the alien mothership to save humanity.

Skylines also stars Jonathan Howard, Alexander Siddig, Rhona Mitra, Daniel Bernhardt and James Cosmo.

Check out the new trailer below.

Skylin3s will be screening in select cinemas across the UK and available digitally on demand from 18th December.
