Up The Catalogue – Things get weird in the trailer for the surreal 24/7 shopping network satire
Hailey Cartin is the star presenter of 4QTV, a revolutionary shopping channel where the products never stop and the cameras never turn off. Trapped in an endless cycle of selling questionable merchandise live on air, she struggles to maintain her professionalism while a manipulative boss pushes her closer to the edge.
As the pressure mounts and the absurdity of the broadcast grows stranger by the minute, Hailey begins to question whether she is simply working a job or trapped inside something much darker. When a glamorous rival presenter arrives and forces Hailey to confront the bizarre reality surrounding her, she must decide whether escape from the relentless machinery of consumer culture is even possible.
A biting and surreal satire, Up the Catalogue blends dark comedy, dystopian media critique, and psychological tension into a wildly original look at the absurdity of modern capitalism.
Directed by Alastair Siddons, the film stars Lyndsey Marshal, John Macmillan, Morgana Robinson, Sam Spruell, Shiloh Coke, and Anastasia Hille.
On Digital APRIL 14 on Amazon, Apple TV, Google Play, YouTube Movies, and Cable On Demand.
