Pressure – Watch Brendan Fraser and Andrew Scott in the new trailer for the World War II drama

STUDIOCANAL unveils a new trailer for the arresting World War II film PRESSURE, a thrilling account of the three-day run-up to D-Day. Directed by Anthony Maras, PRESSURE stars BAFTA Award Winner Andrew Scott (All of Us Strangers, Fleabag), Academy Award® Winner Brendan Fraser (The Whale, The Mummy) and Academy Award® Nominee Kerry Condon (F1: The Movie, The Banshees of Inisherin). PRESSURE is in cinemas nationwide from September 9, 2026.

In the seventy two hours leading up to D-Day, all the pieces are in place except for one key element – the British weather.

Britain’s chief meteorological officer James Stagg (Andrew Scott) is called upon to deliver the most consequential forecast in history, locking him into a tense standoff with the entire Allied leadership. The wrong conditions could devastate the largest ever seaborne invasion, while any delay risks German intelligence catching on. With only his trusted aide Captain Kay Summersby (Kerry Condon) to confide in, and haunted by a catastrophic D-Day rehearsal, the final decision rests with Supreme Allied Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower (Brendan Fraser).

With only hours to go, the fate of the war and the lives of millions hang in the balance.

The film’s stellar cast is rounded out with Golden Globe® and Emmy Award winner Damian Lewis (Billions, Homeland, Band Of Brothers) in the role of Field Marshall Bernard Montgomery and Chris Messina (Air, Sharp Objects) portrays Irving P. Krick, Dwight D. Eisenhower’s trusted wartime Meteorologist.

Developed and produced by STUDIOCANAL and Working Title, PRESSURE is co-written by Maras alongside Olivier award-winner David Haig who wrote the critically lauded play the film is based on.

‘PRESSURE’ WILL RELEASE IN CINEMAS NATIONWIDE FROM 9TH SEPTEMBER 2026.
