The Blue Trail – Denise Weinberg goes on a journey in the trailer for the Brazilian lo-fi sci-fi film
In a not-so-distant dystopian future in Brazil where the government sends its senior citizens to isolated colonies under the guise of boosting the economy, 77-year-old Tereza (starring Denise Weinberg) decides her story is far from over. Refusing to surrender her independence, she embarks upon a journey to pursue the dreams she is not yet ready to abandon. Along the way, she discovers freedom, companionship & the joys of going wherever the flowing Amazon river takes her.
The Blue Trail (O Último Azul) is directed by Brazilian filmmaker Gabriel Mascaro (The Beetle KFZ-1348, Neon Bull, Avenida Brasília Formosa) and stars Denise Weinberg, Rodrigo Santoro, Miriam Socarras, Adanilo, and Rosa Malagueta.
