Cult – Watch the trailer for new British indie

In 1999 a documentary crew gained intimate access to Britain’s most notorious cult, Friends at the End. For legal reasons the film has never been seen. Until now.
F.A.T.E. were a mainstay in the British tabloid press from the Fifties onwards; sex scandals and missing persons allegations abound, and yet little is known about the inner circle of the enigmatic religion. But that’s about to change. A small group of filmmakers gained unprecedented access to follow members’ lives leading up to the passing of June’s Comet, which F.A.T.E. believed would bring the end of the world as we know it.
Written and directed by Luke Ibbetson, the film stars Neil Allen, James Barnes, Anthony Bullinger, and Tim Cartwright.
