HBO’s Watchmen TV show gets a poster


Damon Lindelof (The Leftovers, Lost) is behind the sequel show based on the graphic novel from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons published by DC

Set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws, WATCHMEN embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel of the same name while attempting to break new ground of its own.

Nicole Kassell directs the first episode. The show stars Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Jean Smart, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Andrew Howard, Yahya Abdul-Matteen II, Sara Vickers, James Wolk, Dustin Ingram, Hong Chau, Dylan Schombing, Lily Rose Smith, and Adelynn Spoon.

Watchmen hits HBO on 20th October 2019.
