Watch Rosario Dawson in the trailer for Sam Esmail’s Briarpatch

From the creator of Mr. Robot comes mystery-thriller Briarpatch, starring Rosario Dawson.

Based on the Ross Thomas novel of the same name, Briarpatch stars Rosario Dawson (Marvel’s Daredevil) as Allegra Dill, who returns to her hometown to look into the murder of her sister. From mysterious deaths and corruption to occasional car explosions and zoo animals on the loose, it promises a wild ride through Saint Disgrace, as what begins as a search for a killer turns into an all-consuming fight to bring Allegra’s corrupt hometown to its knees.

Briarpatch hits USA Network in 2020.

  1. Rosario, let me say, this I just watched a clip of you commending your sisters, Selma Hayak, Ashely Judd and all of the other brave women who have come forward. For our cause, and from one strong woman to another and knowing that you dated in the cast of sin city, and how these men seem to derive a perverse pleasure in our pain, of degrading and humiliating us in front of their pin prick friends, laughing and treating us like some type of dirty little joke. I say this, A great man Dr Martin Luther King Jr, Injustice is a threat to justice every where, and it begins in silence. I refuse to keep quiet, having had just about every thing under the sun done to me to keep me down, from drugging to kidnapping and violence up to the point of attempted murder. But as you know you cannot keep a good woman down, that cream always rises to the top. Please continue to speak out, and support us, from the tyranny of these so called men and women, who profit from this type of abuse, but worse derive a pleasure from it. And encourage, those who they can intimidate, from speaking their truth. I am, a survivor, and to all of us who have had to go through every emotional change to get to the other side, and the length of time that it takes to even begin to heal from this, I know this much, they cannot win, because we know that they are victims also, and this is a learned behavior, and we break it by understanding, which is the best thing that we will ever get. And to NEVER treat another human being in such a deplorable, manner, not only allows us to win, but to overcome. You are a beautiful, strong, woman, never surrender to their ultra mind control f@#K%$G Bs. Educate the hearts and minds of the younger girls and boys, with your celebrity status, if it was bad for us, we are adults, the children of tomorrow, need us to bring them out of this, to get them the love and support that they need. To heal and understand, that this is not our fault, because we are not the ones committing these vile and heinous acts, upon humanity.
    Much Love Ms Rosario.
