Kristen Stewart is Jean Seberg in the first image from Seberg

Seberg is inspired by true events about the French New Wave darling and Breathless star, Jean Seberg, who in the late 1960s was targeted by Hoover’s FBI, because of her political and romantic involvement with civil rights activist Hakim Jamal.
Seberg stars Kristen Stewart, Jack O’Connell, Anthony Mackie, Colm Meaney, Margaret Qualley, Vince Vaughn, Zazie Beetz, Stephen Root and Yvan Atta.
That is an excellent cast and there is potential for a great film here. What happened to Jean Seberg was so sad.
Directed by Benedict Andrews and written by Anna Waterhouse and Joe Shrapnel, who also executive produce.
Producers are Fred Berger and Brian Kavanaugh Jones of Automatik, Marina Acton, Alan Ritchson, Kate Garwood, Stephen Hopkins and Brad Pilz.
Seberg is an official selection entry at 2019 Venice Film Festival.
