HBO’s Watchmen series gets a new trailer

Dr Manhattan, Nite-Owl’s airship and lots more are on display in this new trailer for HBO’s Watchmen TV show. It is looking very good. Damon Lindelof’s (Lost, The Leftovers) is behind the new show based on Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ classic Watchmen graphic novel.
Set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws, WATCHMEN embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel while attempting to break new ground of its own.
It will debut in October 2019.
There is lots to see in the new trailer, but I do like how Robert Redford was President in this universe.
The show stars Regina King (American Crime, The Leftovers), Don Johnson (Book Club, Django Unchained), Tim Blake Nelson (The Ballad of Buster Scruggs), Louis Gossett Jr. (An Officer and a Gentleman, The Reason), Adelaide Clemens (Rectify, Parade’s End), Andrew Howard (The Oath, The Brave), Frances Fisher(Masters of Sex), Jacob Ming-Trent (White Famous), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (The Handmaid’s Tale), Sara Vickers(The Crown), and Tom Mison (Sleepy Hollow).
