The 2019 Cannes Film Festival lineup will open with Jim Jarmusch’s The Dead Don’t Die


The 2019 Cannes Film Festival runs from 14th to 25th May. They have announced the current lineup for films showing at the festival although there may be more added over the next few days.

This year’s Cannes competition jury is led by Alejandro G. Iñárritu (Birdman, The Revenant).

The Festival de Cannes has decided to award Alain Delon with an Honorary Palme d’or to pay tribute to his wonderful presence in the history of film.

The Festival will open with Jim Jarmusch’s The Dead Don’t Die which will also be in competition at the Festival. It stars Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Iggy Pop, Sara Driver, RZA, Selena Gomez, Carol Kane and Tom Waits.
