"No matter where you go, there you are."

The Venom Blu-ray trailer is all about the Rom-Com

I saw Venom when I was over in New York for NYCC. It was such an odd film. Tonally it was all over the place and felt like a comic book movie from the 90s. All in all, it was a bit of a mess, but I did enjoy the interactions between Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock and Venom.

The film has currently taken $822,546,285 worldwide so there are bound to be more Venom movies.

The Blu-ray is heading our way very soon if you are in the US – Blu-ray on December 18th and Digital HD on 11th December. Here in the UK we have to wait until February 2019. Sony has put together this Rom-Com style trailer for the film. It makes me think they are embracing the different tones and I wonder whether we will have horror, sci-fi or action themed trailers to help promote the release?

Check out the trailer and the Blu-ray extras below.
