Tyler Hoechlin gets Bigger in the trailer for the Joe Weider biopic

The fathers of the fitness industry Joe and Ben Weider battle anti-Semitism, conventional wisdom and extreme poverty to launch the fitness industry as we know it. Along the way they champion women’s rights, sexual freedom, fight discrimination in all forms … and discover a guy named Arnold Schwarzenegger. Against all odds they launched the gym movement and created an empire.

Directed by George Gallo, the film stars Tyler Hoechlin, Julianne Hough, Aneurin Barnard, Kevin Durand, Victoria Justice, Max Martini, Tom Arnold, Steve Guttenberg, Nadine Lewington, DJ Qualls, Robert Forster, Colton Haynes, and Calum Von Moger.

Hoechlin plays Joe Weider, Julianne Hough (Rock of Ages, Footloose) is Betty Brosmer, Aneurin Barnard (Dunkirk) plays Joe’s brother and business partner Ben Weider, Kevin Durand portrays the brothers’ number-one rival, fitness magazine publisher Bill Hauk, Colton Haynes (CW’s Arrow) is Jack Lalanne and Australian bodybuilder Calum Von Moger plays a young Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Bigger opens in US cinemas on 12th October 2018.
