Has one monster created another in the new Halloween International trailer?

I shared the second Halloween trailer yesterday, which was great at setting the tone for the film. Today sees an International trailer, which is fantastic but is full of spoilers. It gives us the basic plot of the movie and we see how Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode has been obsessed with Michael Myers since those terrible events many years ago.

It looks incredible and when the Halloween theme kicked in I got goosebumps. Check it out below and share your thoughts in the comments. However, beware possible spoilers.

Master of horror John Carpenter executive produced the film and serves as creative consultant on this film, joining forces with cinema’s current leading producer of horror, Jason Blum (Get Out, Split, The Purge, Paranormal Activity). Inspired by Carpenter’s classic, filmmakers David Gordon Green and Danny McBride crafted a story that carves a new path from the events in the landmark 1978 film, and Green also directs.

Nick Castle returns to the role of Michael Myers, along with stunt performer and actor James Jude Courtney.  Virginia “Ginny” Gardner, Miles Robbins, Dylan Arnold, and Drew Scheid also star as friends of Andi Matichak’s character.

Halloween is also produced by Malek Akkad, whose Trancas International Films has produced the Halloween series since its inception, and Bill Block (Elysium, District 9). In addition to Carpenter and Curtis, Green and McBride will executive produce under their Rough House Pictures banner.

Universal Pictures will release Trancas International Films, Blumhouse Productions and Miramax’s Halloween on Friday, October 19, 2018.

Thanks to Alan for sending it over.
