In the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, a group of journalists working for Knight Ridder and covering George Bush’s planned invasion of Iraq in 2003 are sceptical of the president’s claim that Saddam Hussein was hiding “weapons of mass destruction”.
Journalists Jonathan Landay (Woody Harrelson) and Warren Strobel (James Marsden) decide to play on very dangerous territory by challenging the White House.
Shock and Awe depicts their race against time to unveil the truth and their attempt to change the course of history.

Directed by Rob Reiner, the film stars Woody Harrelson, James Marsden, Tommy Lee Jones, Rob Reiner, Jessica Biel, Milla Jovovich, Richard Schiff, Gretchen Koerner, and Luke Tennie.

The film is due out in July 2018.
