Blood and gore are the results of remote-controlled violence in the new Upgrade trailer

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedintumblrmail

From Blumhouse Productions (Get Out, Happy Death Day, and The Purge), Upgrade is written and directed by Australian actor/filmmaker Leigh Whannell, who is better known as the co-creator of the Saw and Insidious films.

After his wife is killed during a brutal mugging that also leaves him paralyzed, Grey Trace (Logan Marshall Green) is approached by a billionaire inventor with an experimental cure that will “upgrade” his body. The cure — an Artificial Intelligence implant called STEM — gives Grey physical abilities beyond anything experienced and the ability to relentlessly claim vengeance against those who murdered his wife and left him for dead.

The film stars Logan Marshall-Green, Betty Gabriel, and Harrison Gilbertson.

Upgrade is due out on 1st June 2018.

Check out the Red and Green Band Trailers below. They could be a tad spoilery, but they do show the tone they are going for. I’m looking forward to seeing this one.
