The Ranger trailer promises some Eighties style slasher horror

Teen punks, on the run from the cops and hiding out in the woods, come up against the local authority — an unhinged park ranger with an axe to grind.

Directed by Jenn Wexler, the film stars Chloe Levine, Jeremy Holm, Granit Lahu, Jeremy Pope, Bubba Weiler, Amanda Grace Benitez, and Larry Fessenden.

The Ranger premieres at this years SXSW Film Festival.
