Burt Reynolds is The Last Movie Star in the new trailer

It has been a while since we last saw Burt Reynolds in a movie, but he is back in A24’s The Last Movie Star (previously called Dog Years).
Vic Edwards (Burt Reynolds) was the biggest star in Hollywood, a college football legend turned stunt double turned leading man. Now, in his eighties, he’s convinced by an old friend (Chevy Chase) to accept an invitation to receive a Lifetime Achievement award at a two-bit film festival in Nashville. The trip launches him on both a hilarious fish-out-of-water adventure and an unexpectedly poignant journey into his past.
Written and directed by Adam Rifkin, who wrote the film specifically for Reynolds, the film also features archival footage from the actor’s filmography.
The film also stars Ariel Winter, Chevy Chase, Clark Duke, Ellar Coltrane, and Juston Street.
The Last Movie Star is due out in the US on 30th March 2018.
