Blade Runner 2049 gets a new extended TV spot

Blade Runner 2049 stars Ryan Gosling, Harrison FordDave Bautista, Ana de Armas, David Dastmalchian, Hiam Abbass, Jared Leto and Robin Wright. It is directed by Denis Villeneuve (Sicario, Prisoners).

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new Blade Runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD Blade Runner who has been missing for 30 years.

The film is written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green, and succeeds the initial story by Fancher and David Peoples based on Philip K. Dick’s novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.

This new trailer or TV spot has more of Jared Leto’s character. I would almost say don’t watch it, as I feel this could be a film that will work best if you see it not knowing much about it. A tricky proposition when I run a film site!

However, it all looks very beautiful and (if you wish) you can watch it below.

The film is out on 6th October 2017.
