"No matter where you go, there you are."

Sense8 is returning: rejoice!

By the end of series two, Sense8 had set up what was to come next in exciting and bold ways and fans of the show were excited to see where the cluster would go…

Where that was, however, ended up being … nowhere.

Sense8 would not be coming back for series 3 – a revelation that sent fans of the show into despair, not least because there were so many stories left unresolved at the end of series 2. So many unanswered questions.

Apart from all that, though, we just loved watching it! In a time when there seems to be more and more division and barriers, Sense8 offered a feeling of unity and tolerance and strength together. It celebrated LGBTQ characters and friendship between countries and across gender, religion and race.

The outpouring of support from fans went on to prove the power of ‘we’ versus ‘I’, bringing the news that the show would, in fact, now be returning for a 2-hour finale episode, largely due to the support of its fans.

Death doesn't let you say goodbye. 2 hour finale episode in the works. Tell your cluster.

So, it looks like we might now be getting answers to those many unanswered questions. What happened to Wolfgang? Will he and Kala ever make it to Paris? Will Lito make his new film? Will Will be happy and drug-free? Will Riley ever be able to return home? Will Sun ever have her name cleared (and will her brother get his comeuppance!?)? Will Capheus change the world and bring water to his hometown? Will Nomi and Amanita’s wedding be the awesome event we all imagined? (It better be!)

There’s a lot to get through in those two hours. But the great news is that we have those two hours. Because this incredibly bold and exciting show needed its proper send off and is now going to get it.

Tell your cluster!
