"No matter where you go, there you are."

Arnie and James Cameron are back for more Terminator

After Terminator Genisys it appeared that Skynet was finally dead and we would have no more films. Many of us said a silent thank you as they had become a series of diminishing returns and Genisys just needlessly complicated matters.

You can’t keep a money making franchise down as Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back!

That’s right, Arnie is going to be a cyborg once more. However, there is a bit of hope for this one as James Cameron is on-board to produce and oversee the new film (he is busy directing four Avatar films), while Tim Miller (Deadpool) is going to direct.

Doesn’t mean it is going to be good, but it has got me interested to see what they have planned. I definitely want to see what Miller does with a Terminator movie.

Speaking to ScreenDaily in Cannes, where he is talking up new environmentally-focused documentary Wonders Of The Sea 3D with producer Francois Mantello [pictured right] and co-directors Jean-Michel Cousteau and Jean-Jacques Mantello, Schwarzenegger confirmed that he will star in a new Terminator film produced by James Cameron.

“It is back,” commented Schwarzenegger, who revealed that he had met Cameron recently and discussed the project. “It is moving forward. He [Cameron] has some good ideas of how to continue with the franchise. I will be in the movie.”

There is now word on where the film will fit into the Terminator timeline. Will it be a reboot or ignore the films after T2: Judgment Day? We will have to wait and see.

What do you want in a new Terminator movie?
