Cool Supercut: The Films of Danny Boyle

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedintumblrmail

Many of the stories in Danny Boyle’s films are quite unconventional, so it’s appropriate that he creates unique visual styles. He often achieves this through his choice of camera placement, which is often a departure from what the average filmmaker would do. There are times where normal blocking and composition are necessary; but Boyle often finds a framing that is unexpected, yet somehow it still always works. This supercut provides just a taste of Boyle’s unique filmmaking.

This supercut includes the following films: Shallow Grave, Trainspotting, 28 Days Later, Sunshine, Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours, Trance, Steve Jobs.
